Heartbeats
constant stream
underneath the pain relief
lifted by the strings of command
out of alignment with the stars

balance
thin line
a hundred different balls in the air
no one lands perfect
only one is caught
before it´s lost again
during the fall of your spinal chord

the sound of the waterline
on the border to a drowning spirit
helpless
head sinking above the surface
face staring towards the sky
witness the creation once more
not allowed to be a part of it
did not weigh the line

left out of the alignment
that kept the feet on the ground
