A 365 Daily Challenge: Day 8

Day 8
Topic: Santeria Siren

A siren singing softly at sunrise
An image of a godly force
Appears from the mouth
Rising its wings towards the sky
Performing a morning ceremony
On the cold stones of the shore

Turns to the man who seeks forgiveness
But the spine is stronger than the man
Wings reach longer
Eyes that see beyond fear
So the man is turned towards black magic
He does not understand
To use it for his own good

The siren builds up the ritual
While the man casts his curse

The siren flies away
Nesting in the mountains
To just wait

until the man dies

I have no idea what this means because it’s very deep but I love it and I’m going to keep reading off and on until I understand it.

Nope I need help understanding if you don’t mind me asking

      • MesAyah says:

I want to give you some clues. Santeria is religion that builds on the catholic religion, that the slaves brought over to especially south America. The religion has a huge belief in Black Magic and also Vodoo, but only the weak use their spells for their own winning, and will eventually be punished for it
