A 365 Daily Challenge: Day 6

Day 6
Topic: Blushing Martyr

Mirrored the last glance on earth
In the hand held shining blade of an axe
The last ressemblance of a hero
Stood in the hands of an executioner

Could not help noticing the fire
Still burning in the eyes
That fierce look she’s had since day one
The look that no one could tame
The look that refused to bend away
From the path that she was on
None of it was gone
It was all there
None of that would ever consider
To fade away, even though she would

She started smiling to her self
Began to prepare the birth of her angel wings, by letting the self made fear fade

Her face shone in the reflecting blade
Every blink she made, took her through the steps of every decade
after this

She had sacrificed herself

Laying there on her death bed
She was able to reflect that
It was beautiful
It was everything
She fell in love
And blushed on her last breath
